AMEDEO MODIGLIANI 1884-1920
Born in Livorno Italy his early work is influenced by the Italian Renaissance Painters, and later Toulouse-Lautrec and the Fauves. He produced some elongated stone heads in African style which influenced his painting style with the elongated portraits.
